We bought a home for Armine!

Lorik Humanitarian Fund recently marked another milestone with the home blessing of its 12th permanent home for an Armenian family forcibly displaced from Artsakh. After losing their home and community, this family has now resettled in Armenia with stability, safety, and dignity.

This milestone reflects Lorik Humanitarian Fund’s ongoing commitment to providing permanent housing for displaced Artsakh families, ensuring that each home represents a lasting foundation for rebuilding lives after forced displacement.

Armine lost her husband, Babken, in the 2023 war in Martuni. Since then, life hasn’t been easy — raising two kids alone, with no stable income, barely affording rent.

But today, thanks to your support, she and her daughters finally have a place to call their own — a real home.

Little Lilit is full of energy. She runs around with big dreams, loves every corner of their new space, and always looks forward to her after-school activities. Her older sister is quiet, calm — but you can see in her eyes how much this new place means to her. And Armine… she’s been through so much, but never gave up. She’s now learning to sew — not just as a hobby, but as a way to rebuild, to work, to feel strong again.

A permanent home marks a new beginning for families displaced from Artsakh.

This house changed everything. It brought them safety, peace, and the feeling that they’re not alone. And that matters more than words can say.

But the truth is — there are so many more mothers like Armine.

Women left behind, raising children alone, because their husbands gave their lives for us — for our country. And now, it’s our turn to be there for them.

If you’ve ever wondered what your donation can do — this is it. It can build a home. It can bring hope back. It can show someone who lost everything that they’re still seen, still loved, still supported.

Let’s keep going. For the next family. For all those who gave everything!
