Recent Updates from Our Work
Over the past months, your support has helped us continue delivering real, tangible impact on the ground in Armenia.
We have:
Continued supporting displaced families through targeted assistance
Expanded our cultural and youth programming, including our arts studio in Gyumri
Maintained momentum across housing, education, and livelihood initiatives
Each step, no matter the size, has been focused on one goal: restoring stability, dignity, and long-term opportunity for families who have lost everything.
Community Support — We Are Grateful
We are especially grateful to the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) and AYF Juniors Chapters of La Crescenta and Orange County, whose recent fundraising efforts have collectively raised over $15,000 in support of our work.
We also want to recognize our friends in Australia — Chris Gulumian and Hagop Injejikian — who, for the second year in a row, organized and completed a 24-hour marathon fundraiser, raising over $1,500 for Artsakh families through Lorik Fund.
This level of commitment — across generations and across continents — is powerful. It is a reminder that our community continues to show up, organize, and take responsibility for the future.

University Outreach — UC Berkeley ASA

We also had the opportunity to visit the UC Berkeley Armenian Students’ Association (ASA), where we presented on the situation in Artsakh, the ongoing humanitarian needs, and the work being carried out through Lorik Fund.
In addition to the presentation, we were honored to take part in conversations surrounding their Genocide Remembrance events, engaging with students who are actively working to preserve memory, raise awareness, and take action.
These moments matter — not only for awareness, but for building a network of informed and committed advocates.
Introducing: Small Business Grants Program

We are now taking an important next step.
Over the past six months, we quietly supported several small, income-generating initiatives — helping families begin rebuilding through work.
Based on that experience, we have officially launched the Lorik Small Business Grants Program.
73 applications received
$25,000 raised so far
Focused on long-term, sustainable livelihoods
Our first two grants have already been deployed:
🧵 Home-Based Sewing BusinessGrant: 300,000 AMD (~$820 USD)Providing equipment and materials for a woman to generate stable income through sewing and alterations.
🐝 Beekeeping Expansion (Veteran of Three Wars)Grant: 2,400,000 AMD (~$6,557 USD)Supporting the expansion of an existing operation with new hives and bee families.
This builds on earlier efforts including:
Upgrading a heating system for a guesthouse
Providing equipment for a small copy business
Supporting a farming family with feed resources

Looking Ahead
This program represents something important.
Not short-term aid — but investment in independence. Not temporary relief — but pathways to stability and self-sufficiency.
With your continued support, we are confident this initiative can grow and reach many more families in need.
Thank You
We remain deeply grateful for your trust and support.
Everything we are able to do — every home, every scholarship, every business — is made possible because of you.
If you would like to support this next phase of our work:
Together, we can continue rebuilding lives — with dignity, purpose, and long-term impact.
With gratitude,
