Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund: New Academic Year Underway
Lorik Humanitarian Fund has begun distributing scholarships for the new academic year through the Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund, continuing its commitment to supporting students forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
So far this academic year, six students have received scholarships totaling $5,924, including three children of fallen Armenian soldiers.
These scholarships provide direct financial assistance to students pursuing higher education while their families continue rebuilding their lives following the forced displacement of Artsakh's Armenian population in September 2023.
Continuing Our Commitment to Education
During the previous academic year, Lorik awarded 114 scholarships totaling $60,810, helping students continue their education despite the financial challenges facing their families.
The new academic year is now underway, and scholarship payments have begun. With six students already supported, we hope to extend assistance to additional students as funding becomes available.
Our scholarship program places particular importance on supporting the children of fallen soldiers, whose families have made extraordinary sacrifices.
Honoring Aznavour Saghyan
Named in memory of Aznavour Saghyan, the scholarship fund carries forward his name through educational opportunities for young Armenians.
By helping students complete their studies, the fund invests in their professional development, independence, and future contributions to their communities.
Help Us Support More Students
The need for educational assistance remains significant among families forcibly displaced from Artsakh. For many students, tuition expenses place additional pressure on households still working to establish financial stability.
Every contribution to the Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund helps Lorik reach more students and provide meaningful financial assistance toward their education.
We are grateful to the donors whose generosity has already made this year's scholarships possible.
Support the Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund and help more students continue their education.
