Artsakh Chicks

The “Artsakh Chicks” program was created to help villagers replace their lost livestock and have an alternative source of protein. Since most the land where their cows, sheep, and goats graze is temporarily occupied by the azerbaijanis, we decided to replace those animals with chickens which do not require pastures to graze and can be kept close to home. Villagers were provided with 25 one month old chicks and 30 kilos of feed.

The program has distributed more than 10,000 chicks and over 12,000 Kilos of feed, benefiting over 400 families in 9 villages across Artsakh.
