On Tuesday, September 30, I had the honor of visiting the Armenian Prelacy of Canada in Montreal, accompanied by Dn. Zaven Der Sahaguian, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sourp Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church of Laval.
Lorik Humanitarian Fund recently paid a heartfelt visit to the Armenian Prelacy of Canada to share updates on its work supporting Armenian families forcibly displaced from Artsakh. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing housing, humanitarian, and cultural initiatives aimed at helping displaced families rebuild their lives in Armenia.
These conversations are part of Lorik Humanitarian Fund’s broader commitment to providing permanent housing for displaced Artsakh families, while also strengthening partnerships with Armenian institutions across the diaspora.
We were warmly received by the Vicar General, the Right Rev. Fr. Keghart Kosbakian, and the Director of the Department of Christian Education, the Very Rev. Fr. Hagop Yacoubian.

Our meeting provided a meaningful opportunity to share the mission and ongoing humanitarian efforts of the LORIK Humanitarian Fund, which continues to support the 150,000 forcibly displaced Armenians of Artsakh. We were deeply inspired by the Prelacy’s steadfast commitment to faith, education, and community service across Canada.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the spiritual fathers for their gracious hospitality, wisdom, and encouragement.May God bless them with strength, good health, and continued success in their sacred ministry.
You can support Artsakh refugee housing and humanitarian efforts and help displaced families rebuild their lives by contributing to Lorik Humanitarian Fund.
With gratitude and faith
